Meena Ganesh is the CEO and MD of Pearson Education Services, which includes innovative and successful brands like TutorVista, leading online tutoring company, and Edurite, provider of technology-based solutions and digital content. Under her leadership, the company has made a successful foray into the school management space and emerged as the fastest growing school chain in India.

Prior to this, Meena was the CEO of Tesco's operations in India, the Tesco Hindustan Service Center. Tesco is the world's third largest retailer with a revenue base of nearly $100bn and 400,000 people. She was also on the Global Retail Council of Tesco, an elite group of about 50 people who run the operations of Tesco worldwide. She also has the privilege of being the only Indian, and one amongst four women on this Council.

Before coming on board Tesco, Meena co-founded one of India's pioneering BPO companies: Customer Asset, which she sold to ICICI OneSource. She was the Chief Operations Officer of Customer Asset and helped build the organisation to nearly 4,000 people, servicing large corporate customers in UK and US markets.

During her five-year association with Microsoft India, she set up multiple business units for them, including Microsoft Consulting, Internet and Application Development/Business services units. She was with PricewaterhouseCoopers and with NIIT during the initial 11 years of her career

Umashankar V. is the President of the School Management division of Pearson Education Services. He has over 25 years of experience in IT and education sectors, which includes working with various state governments and governmental agencies. Under his guidance, Pearson Schools brand has extended its presence in India and abroad with over 20 schools.

Before taking over the reins of school management, Umashankar was the Vice President and Business Head of IL&FS Education and Technology Services Ltd., where he helped build the K-10 brand.

Umashankar has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Madras University and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi.

Sukumar has over 25 years of experience in the fields of IT and IT Education with experience in Strategic planning & implementation, Sales, Marketing, Product and Channel Management. During this period, he has worked in multi cultural environments across the country and in Far East Asian markets.

Prior to his stint with Pearson, he had the privilege of working with and contributing to the success stories of some of the best names in the industry such as Wipro, Aptech, NIIT, HP and Siemens. Since 1993, he has been associated with pioneering companies in their forays into IT education and core education and his career growth is aligned with the growth of big brands in education. His last assignment was with Siemens IT Solutions and Services as Head - Education Services.

Sukumar has his distinction in Master of Management Studies (MMS) from Bombay University and Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Madras University. His wife and two kids share his affection while cricket and music jostles for his free time.

Dr.Shetty has been involved in establishment and management of various schools, curriculum development and implementation, apart from research and training programmes in teacher development and other areas of methodology and materials.

Dr. Vidya Shetty has been involved in various domains of education ranging from teaching, training, research and development, administration and management, focusing on school and collegiate education. Apart from having a significant amount of experience in teaching, she has been a key member of various management teams. The Institutions under her guidance have received recognition across India.

She is both a trainer for colleges and schools apart from being a consultant and a guest faculty to renowned institutions in Bangalore and Mangalore in India. She has presented papers on education and linguistics and teaching of English and has been very involved in theatre and writing.

Her role as the Director of Presidency Schools had her structuring the schools efficiently. It was under her leadership that the schools implemented and computerized the administrative processes and she was cited as one of the pioneer school principals in systematizing and digitizing the administrative wing of the organization. She played a key role in managing strategic, academic and financial support for the institutions, leading the group of institutions and the teams to build an effective image in the domain of education.

Dr. Vidya Shetty is also the Editor-in-chief-MENTOR / Consultant-School Cinema-Edumedia India Pvt. Ltd and is actively involved in the conceptualization and editing of the magazine-MENTOR which is the only magazine in India, exclusively for Principals.

Viswanathan is responsible for Business Development and Operations of Pearson Schools and handles all commercial aspects of school management operations. With nearly 8 years of experience across multiple roles in IT consulting companies such as Sapient and Headstrong, he brings in considerable expertise in program management, finance and marketing disciplines. Over the years, he has played a critical role in acquisition, take-over and management of school operations.

Viswanathan has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Institute of Technology-BHU and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode.

HS Bhakta Vatsala is responsible for ensuring the operational excellence of Pearson Schools. With 36 years of experience as an Educational Officer in the Indian Navy,

he has made immense contributions to the various designations he has held over the span of his extensive career.

Between the year 2008 and 2011 Bhakta Vatsala served as the Principal of the Indian Navy Academy and was responsible for formulating B Tec degree syllabus for Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) and played an active role in all the infrastructural developments of the academy. His various achievements include pioneering on line examinations for the Indian Navy, introducing a ‘Controllerate of Naval Exams’ at Naval headquarters , establishing IGNOU Study Centre for Naval Personnel at Vishakhapatnam, starting a school for special children and many such endeavors. Bhakta Vatsala is the recipient of the Visisht Seva Medal, a decoration of the armed forces, which recognizes distinguished services of exceptional order.
